NGL Hollingsworth Trophy – Group C

Kettering’s B team bounced back from their whitewash defeat at Daventry last month in the best possible way as they secured a 3-2 victory at Peterborough Milton.

Alan Moreland and John Payne got the ball rolling with a 4&2 win in the opening tie, before the hosts responded by taking the next point by the same scoreline and also the last game.

But it made no difference to the overall result as Keith Althorpe and Lee Smith (4&3) levelled the scores for Kettering, before Richard Burton and John Bishop secured an important away victory on the closing hole.
