Adam Myers was too hot to handle in the latest NPGA Pro-Am as the Northants County pro carded a winning round of five-under-par 67 at Silverstone.
On the warmest day of the year, Myers finished three shots ahead of Collingtree’s Rob Clayton, with Farthingstone’s Mike Gallagher, who is in his 50th year as a Professional, in third place on 71.
Clayton took the plaudits in the team category alongside amateurs Mark Hemmings, Nick Aiken and Richard Anniston after posting a brilliant winning score of 22-under-par 122.
