Collingtree Park held their nerve in most of the tight matches against Kingsthorpe as they defeated the reigning champions 6-2 to maintain their perfect start to the season.
With all of the eight games reaching the 17th hole at least, the crucial wins came for Collingtree in the middle ties as Robert Horton, Mason Geddes and Glyn Hannah all triumphed down the last.
Kettering and Wellingborough couldn’t be separated as the latter team won two and halved two of the last four ties to snatch a share of the spoils.
Overstone Park beat Cold Ashby 5-3 as points from Tony Osborne, Ryan McAllister, John Gleeson, Colin White and Andrew Watson secured their first victory of the campaign.
