Peterborough Milton A clinched a place in the semi-finals after finishing top of Group D with a 3-1 home success against closest rivals Kettering A.
Although Morgan Cresswell got the team going with a big win in the opening tie, Joseph Ingham replied for Kettering with a 3&2 success in the next game.
Adam Barker restored Peterborough’s advantage thanks to a comfortable victory, before team-mate Rajeev Rajani completed the scoring as he edged out Junior League debutante Sonny Lennon in the last tie.
Milton A will now face an intriguing last four contest with the Milton C team as they go head-to-head at Rushden on Sunday.
With Overstone A having already booked a meeting with Kettering B in the other semi-final at the same venue, Northants County secured the runners-up spot in Group B with a battling 2-2 away draw with Peterborough Milton B as Emily Nunn grabbed the vital last point.
