Youngsters Joseph Hyde and Ashleigh Critchley both visited the winners table on more than one occasion as Kettering Golf Club held their 2018 Junior Presentation Evening last week.
On a night when Seddon Trophy winner Gracie Murray was announced as the Junior Captain for 2019, Riley Cowley and Izzi MacCallum clinched the Boys and Girls Rookie of the Year crowns, while Chelsey Sharp, Finn Smith, Lewis Critchley and Joe Ingham also collected awards.
Ashleigh Critchley, meanwhile, is taking part in the final of the Telegraph Vitality Junior Golf Championship in Spain this week as she competes against eight of the best girl golfers in the country over 54 holes at PGA Catalunya Resort.
Previous winners of this prestigious title include Melissa Reid and Jodi Ewart Shadoff, who both went on to play in the Solheim Cup team. Justin Rose and Matthew Fitzpatrick are former champions of the boys competition.
