Stuart Long and Lyn Thomas have given themselves a chance of playing in the National Final of the GolfSixes at 2019 Open Championship venue Royal Portrush after winning the club qualifier at Cold Ashby with a combined tally of 28 points.

Brian Summers was the standout performer in the second round of the Seniors Lonsdale at Wellingborough as he saw his handicap cut to 12 on the back of a round of 42 points.
Phil Elwick finished second with 39, while Robin Everard and David Birkett were a further point off the pace.

Jason Ford’s scorecard in the Priors Hall March Stableford was packed full of gross pars and bogeys as the 17-handicapper came out on top with a total of 43 points. Nick Lazic finished runner-up on 40.
