Handicap League
Priors Hall’s strong tail proved vital in their home contest with Oundle as they secured a first Handicap League victory of the season with an 18-0 win in Group A.
The Corby club took the opening three ties by small margins, before surging clear thanks to Mark Collins and Nick Lazic (four holes) and William Adams and Steve Shiells (10 holes) in games four and six respectively.
In Group D, Hellidon Lakes rarely looked in danger of losing at home to Cherwell Edge in their first home outing of the campaign as they went on to record a 13-3 victory.
Wins from Gary Osborne and Darren Welsh (five holes), Richard Barnes and Richard French (two holes) and Paul King and Roy Trim (three holes) in the opening three games made all the difference.
