British Junior Golf Tour

County Girls team player Shivani Karthikeyan has reached the 2020 IMG Academy Junior World Championships in San Diego after winning British Junior Golf Tour’s qualifying Girls 15-18 age group event over 36 holes at Woodhall Spa GC.
The Peterborough Milton member shot 83 over the Hotchkin layout to sit three shots off the lead at the half way stage, before storming to victory with a magnificent final round 75, which included five birdies.
Northampton’s Leah Ribano, who played in the World Championships last year, finished fifth, as did Mark Stockdale (Overstone) in the Boys 15-18 Age category, while Jacob Williams (Milton), Aidan Rudge (Collingtree) and Harrison Taylor (Northampton) finished further off the pace.
