Charley Hull recorded her best finish on the LPGA Tour since February as she finished tied 11th in the Taiwan Swinging Skirts LPGA event in Chinese Taipei.
After carding scores of 73, 68 and 70 on the opening three days, the Kettering professional found her very best in the final round as she smashed seven birdies in a magnificent five-under-par 68.
Meghan MacLaren fell agonisingly short in her bid to join Hull on the LPGA Tour for next year as she just missed out in the final stage of Q School after playing eight rounds at Pinehurst in San Diego.
Chasing a top 45 finish, the Wellingborough golfer made it through to the final two rounds close to the mark, but couldn’t find the birdies when needed on Pinehurst No. 9 as she finished with two rounds of 75.
