Gosling Invitational, Bermuda

Tiger Adams will make his overseas professional debut this week as he competes over 54 holes in the Gosling Invitational in Bermuda.
Although the Wellingborough golfer qualified for the event as an amateur towards the end of the summer, he has decided the time is right to make the switch into the professional ranks.
Adams, who is playing on the scenic courses of Port Royal, Belmont Hills and Mid Ocean Club in Bermuda, said: “I’m going to go out there and see what happens, it will just be a nice experience.
“The majority of it is paid for, so if I have a good week hopefully the pay cheque will be big enough to cover a lot of next year. They are really good players and I will have to play well.
“I’ve been out to the USA five or six times before for the World Junior Championships. But it’s not too often you earn the right to have an all-expenses trip to Bermuda, so I will make the most of it.”
