NGL Champion of Champions & Izzard Trophy

Jensen Parfitt is aiming to add the NGL Champion of Champions title to the Collingtree Park Championship and NGL County Championship crown he’s already won this year when he competes at Delapre on Saturday.

With the field boasting a blend of experienced campaigners and teenagers, former County Champion Miles Mudge (Staverton Park), Richard Dalton (Overstone) and Luis Witherall (Cherwell Edge) are amongst the other leading contenders.

Wellingborough’s Ellie Darnell, who finished runner-up in the NGL Ladies County Championship last month, is likely to be the player to beat in the Ladies Champion of Champions event.

In the NGL Izzard Trophy, which takes place on the same course on the same day, 16 different clubs will be represented, including defending champions Farthingstone, whose team features Ian Donald, Daniel Prescott and David Harwood.
