NGL Ladies Cecil Leitch League

Sarah Pattison (5&3), Eve Wilkins (7&5), Vera Carter (4&2), Sue Mobbs (2&1) and Jean Galbraith (7&6) were all successful for Kettering’s Ladies Cecil Leitch team as they whitewashed Delapre in their opening Group A home fixture.

Cold Ashby were only marginally less impressive in their home contest with Overstone Park in Group B as they recorded a 4-1 victory.

Rushden had few problems securing their third consecutive win in Group D as they defeated Oundle 4-1 at home, thanks to Julie Beavan (3&2), Karen Findlay (7&5), Linda Smith (6&5) and Anne Bewers (7&6).
