Top 10 finish for Leah on Faldo Series

Northampton’s Leah Ribano finished in a tie for ninth position in the opening Girls Under-21s competition of the prestigious Faldo Series.

Ribano carded scores of 75 and 78 at Welwyn Garden City to make the cut, before moving further up the leaderboard with a 74 on the final day at Brocket Hall.

With a record field of over 400 juniors taking part, Overstone’s Mark Stockdale eagled the 18th hole on the final day to finish in 11th position in the Boys Under-18s competition.
