Overstone Park
Connie Stonestreet emphasised her potential in the Overstone Park March Nine-hole Junior Stableford as a round of 20 points confirmed top spot by one from Jadon Pham.
In the March Mid-Week Stableford, Jim Connor finished with a gross birdie and a gross par on the closing two holes to clinch victory by one point from Chris Cooke and Julian Hardy (both 36).
Countback was required in the March Stableford as Steve Watkins got the better of Pete Softley after both players compiled 40 points.
Priors Hall
Terry Marris secured a countback win from Anthony Cornwell in the March Seniors Medal as the 15-handicapper took the honours with a round of net 66 at Priors Hall.
In the Bogey Competition a few days earlier, Tom O’Donnell beat the Corby course by five holes to record a convincing victory. Scott Gordon, John Lappin, Tam Ferns, Steve Shiells and Cornwell all finished two holes up.
Wellingborough
Andrew Welsh led the scoring in the Wellingborough March Medal as the 10-handicapper’s round of net 70 lifted him a single stroke clear of high-handicapper Carl Morgan. Third place went to Steven Munns (73).
Rushden
Richard Wright beat the Rushden course by five holes to win the Par/Bogey Competition from Ian Blakeley (four) and David Patrick (three).
