Austin clinches NGL Higgs Bowl

Collingtree Park’s Steven Austin kept his composure on the closing stretch of holes at Delapre Park to lift the NGL Higgs Bowl after posting a winning round of net 63.

After covering the front nine in gross level par, the 14-handicapper bagged a vital birdie three on the 15th hole to finish two clear of Overstone Park’s Sean White, with home club member Robert Busby a further shot back in third.

In the second Order of Merit event of the season, Staverton Park’s Josh Morris led the gross scoring with a round of 73.
