Overstone Park swept aside Kingsthorpe in their Ladies Cecil Leitch Group C home match as they earned a 5-0 victory.

Julie Howes and teenager Freya Pickford set the tone with huge wins, Suzanne Silvester confirmed the team success with a 5&3 triumph, before Cathy Wiggins and Katie Watkins completed the perfect day on the 17th hole.

Group D

Northants County secured local bragging rights over neighbours Brampton Heath after completing a Group D double with a 3-2 away success.

Sarah Huddy and Sue McRae gave the visitors the early advantage with two comfortable wins, before Wendy Mckie and Jane Rowe replied for Brampton, who lost 4-1 at County earlier in the month.

With the final match going the distance, County’s Saliann Miles sealed the team victory after overcoming Anthea Raddan.
