Group B

Northants County and Kettering kept up the pressure on Group B leaders Peterborough Milton as they grabbed convincing home victories against Priors Hall and Wellingborough respectively.

David Bonham and Ian Tarry (seven holes) and Lee Ault and Darren Cooke (six holes) were the biggest victors for County as they beat Priors 19-4, while Kettering enjoyed three big wins as they whitewashed Wellingborough 22-0.

Group C

Kingsthorpe were given a fright by Farthingstone before making it three wins in three outings in Group C as they secured a 7-5 home victory.

Trailing by one point with two matches remaining, the hosts needed a three-hole success from Robert Tansley and Peter Botterill and a half from Richard Beeby and Mark O’Neill to confirm the team success.

It was a similar story for Brampton Heath, who needed wins from Chris Denham and Stephen Nixon (three holes) and Ryan Noakes and David Masters (six holes) turn around an early deficit against Silverstone, as they eventually won 10-3.

Group D

Rushden moved level on points with Overstone Park at the top of Group D after thrashing Oundle 19-0 at home.

The result never looked in doubt once Ian Wills and Brian Mitcham (five holes) and Kane Attley and Kulwinder Bagri (six holes) had took the opening two games.
