Northamptonshire Boys Under-14’s Team

Northamptonshire Boys Under-14’s team finished runners-up to hosts Leicestershire and Rutland in the Keith Tripp Trophy on Sunday August 14th in hot conditions at Lingdale GC.

In a team event, won by the home county but also including Derbyshire and Cambridgeshire, the Northants line-up of Jadon Pham, Ollie Penberthy, Jack Meakin, Joe Jaggard, Ollie Walden and Daniel Rees posted a gross total of 421.

With three of Northamptonshire’s boys shooting excellent net rounds, Meakin was particularly impressive as he came in with the leading individual net score of 66. Alfie Sunman and Krishan Panesar also played for the County.
