NGL Seniors Pairs Open & Ladies Bouverie Bowl

Defending champions David Hawkins and Gary Smith will head a strong line-up in the NGL Seniors Pairs Open as the Northants County duo look to retain their title at Brampton Heath GC on Monday, September 12th.

Hawkins and Smith will be looking to repeat their imperious form from 12 months ago when they smashed a magnificent tally of 47 points on the same course to triumph by three.

Ted Dunn (Peterborough Milton) and Dennis Mathers (County), who were successful in 2019, and last year’s runners-up Simon Langley and Paul Brunning (both Whittlebury are expected to challenge again.

Reigning NGL Ladies Bouverie Bowl champion Suzanne Silvester (Overstone Park) has been drawn in the last group of the 2022 competition the following day as she aims to clinch the trophy for the second successive year at Northants County GC.

Home club member Sue Barrick, who finished runner-up 12 months ago, will hit the opening tee shot as 42 players compete for the title over 18 holes.
