NGL Ladies Senior Championship

Alison Irvine was crowned Northamptonshire Ladies Senior Champion for 2022 after winning the 18-hole competition at Silverstone GC by five strokes.

The Northampton member carded a gross score of 77 to finish ahead of club-mate Lorraine Chadwick-Colmer, with Wellingborough’s Gill Snelson a further shot back in third. Miriam Johnson (Wellingborough) clinched the net prize with a 71.

The Tazza Trophy, which was competed for on the same day at the same venue, went to Overstone Park’s Gina Evans as a tally of 42 points earned her a comfortable win from Whittlebury’s Kay Edwards (37).
