England Golf Awards

Peterborough Milton member Emily Horsted has been shortlisted for the 2023 Young Volunteer of the Year at the England Golf Awards.

The 18-year-old helped out at various tournaments last year, including working as a ball spotter at the England and Wales Blind Golf Championships.

Horsted, who is an England Golf Young Ambassador, has been nominated alongside Abi Frodsham (Cheshire), Abigail Scott (Lincolnshire) and Alexandra Bonfield (Yorkshire).

Former Northamptonshire Ladies amateur champion Kelly Bridges (nee Hanwell) has been shortlisted for the Women and Girls Trailblazer for her work as a professional in Dorset.

The winners will be announced at the England Golf Awards, which are scheduled to take place at the Hilton Manchester on March 2nd, hosted by TV presenter Clare Balding.
