The Shires Junior Golf Tour

Oliver Golby’s reward for winning the Winter Order of Merit on The Shires Junior Golf Tour is a place in the Elexis Brown Foundation Day at Nailcote Hall GC on Saturday, June 17th.

The Northants County GC youngster topped the Gold Division standings by two from club-mate Jack Meakin after winning three of the four competitions on the short course at Brampton Heath GC during the off-season.

Golby will join the other section winners Evan Fowler and Caelan Beveridge in a qualifying event for the prestigious British Par 3 Championship, which attracts some of the best professionals and high-profile celebrities, at Nailcote Hall in August.

With fellow Northamptonshire juniors Josh Bodimeade and Joshua Brown also entered into the qualifier, anyone interested in taking part in the competition needs to sign-up via www.progressjuniorgolf.com.
