British Junior Golf Tour

Wellingborough’s Jack Meakin broke the 100 mark in his first competition over 18 holes on British Junior Golf Tour as the nine-year-old finished third in The Bedford Junior Open.
The youngster, who plays off 27, was particularly strong on the short holes as he finished with a score of net 69.
Elliot Strickland (Northampton) finished seventh on net 73, while Mark Stockdale (Overstone), who won the County Boys Net Order of Merit last season, was 12th on 75.
