County Boys reach Anglian League Final
Northamptonshire Boys team have qualified for the Anglian League Final after winning their regional qualifying tri-match against Leicestershire and Lincolnshire at Lutterworth GC.
Despite being under strength in the morning pairs, the County kept themselves in the contest through a couple of tight wins from Jadon Pham and Oliver Godwin and two more convincing victories from Jacob Williams and Calum Sainsbury.
With all three teams sitting on four points, Northamptonshire stepped up a gear with a collection of exceptional performances in the afternoon singles as they earned a place in the final at The Cambridgeshire GC on Monday, August 15th.
Ben Atherton, James Atwood and Harrison Panter were particularly impressive as they grabbed big wins as the team thrashed Lincolnshire, before confirming top spot with a draw against Leicestershire.
