County Girls

Northamptonshire Girls team saw their Midlands Scratch and Handicap League title defences come to an end with a narrow defeat to Hereford and Worcester at Moseley GC.
A 4&2 win from County Ladies Champion Ashleigh Critchley and halves from Hattie Billson and Leah Ribano couldn’t prevent the Scratch team losing 4-2, while Hannah Talbot’s 5&4 was the only success for the Handicap side as they were beaten 2-1.
The big positive for the County was the performance of the Experience Girls as debutante Izzi MacCallum (4&3) and Lucy Hayward (3&2) bagged wins, while Eleanor Hamilton collected a half in a 2½-½ victory.
