Peterborough Milton
Shivani Karthikeyan continued her development as the talented young golfer won the January Junior Stableford at Peterborough Milton with a score of 41 points.
The teenager, who lifted the NGL Girls Net 18-hole Order of Merit crown last year, finished two clear of Oliver Clark, with Rylan Thomas in third on 37.
The three divisional winners of the Men’s January Stableford were Scott O’Connor, Wayne Howard and John Stratton respectively.
O’Connor (42 points) carded three birdies and just one bogey on the 10th hole as he took the top section honours by three, Howard bagged 40 in the second category, while high-handicapper Stratton’s tally of 37 was one better than the rest.

Wellingborough
Mark Rashley, Tim Coleman, Steve West and Elliott West proved too strong in the Men’s Medal Minus Stableford Competition as the quartet carded the leading mark of net 21 at Wellingborough.
The runners-up spot in the unusual scoring competition went to the team of Mark Hawkins, Josh Hawkins, Dave Hawkins and Ash Connolly.

Cold Ashby
Gary Payne and Iain Kerr were the standout performers in the January Stableford at Cold Ashby as they came in with the joint best score of 38 points.
Payne grabbed the top prize on countback, while Spencer Daniels and Alan Bott led the second and third division scoring respectively.
The Ladies January Medal was won by Pamela Kerr with a net 70 as Barbara Steane finished three shots back in the runners-up position.

Rushden
A birdie on the 16th hole and a couple of pars to finish proved decisive for Paul Robinson in the fourth round of the Rushden Winter League as he grabbed the plaudits on countback with an excellent tally of 42 points.
On a good day for scoring, Laura Gant also carded 42, while Terry O’Reilly and Paul Darnell came in with 41 apiece.
