Simon Gunn was victorious in the Winter Bash competition on countback from Adam Smith after both players posted the leading mark of 38 points at Farthingstone.

Gunn’s better scores over the last six holes proved crucial as he edged out Smith, who covered both the front and back nines in gross two over par.

Whittlebury Park

James Baldwin has opened up a healthy 32 point cushion at the top of the Kenward Order of Merit Trophy at Whittlebury Park as he leads the way from Peter Bleakley (342).

Bertie Edwards and Rob Morgan are the joint pacesetters in the 9 O’Clock Order of Merit with 46 points apiece after just two competitions.

Tracey Mann and Tracey Heavey appear to be the ladies to catch in the George Blues Trophy and Ladies Order of Merits as they currently top the respective individual standings.

Staverton Park

Wayne Brown and Philip Lane grabbed the joint-best total of 35 points in Staverton Park’s February Stableford as they finished two clear of Tom Bowen, Craig Cotterill and Malcolm Jones.

Twenty five points was a magnificent winning score from Patrick Evans in the latest Seniors Blue Group Front Nine as he finished five ahead of Alan Reeves and Tony Pernyes. Trevor Tracey (20) won the Red Group Front Nine Stableford on countback.

Hellidon Lakes

Forty six points was a breathtaking winning score in the 13th round of the Hellidon Lakes Tigers Winter Merit League as Philip Gray bagged all the plaudits. Ludlow Johnson’s 41 points secured second place by one from Joe Kingston.

Kingsthorpe

Gill Hodgson compiled the best score of 30 points in the Kingsthorpe Ladies Captains Drive-In competition as she finished three ahead of Ionie Robinson. The nine-hole prize went to Rosie Cullis (14) by two points from Lin Birch.
