Junior Winter Series Order of Merit joint-leader Krishan Panesar found his form once again in the fifth and penultimate event of the season as he carded a winning score of 20 points.

Jess Barby, who also has 34 points in the overall standings, finished second alongside Adam Haywood and Josh Walker on 16 apiece.

Whittlebury Park

Forty two points was the winning round in Whittlebury Park’s March Stableford as Peter Bleakley earned the plaudits by two from Andrew Tagg, with six players a further couple of points off the pace.

Deborah Dixon (30) led the way in the Ladies Stableford by two points from Clare Davies and Danielle Edwards.

The SNAGS AGM Competition went to Kevin Pearson as his tally of 37 points lifted him clear of Rob Watson and Neil Westland (both 35).

Hellidon Lakes

Shaun Start coped best with the difficult scoring conditions in the Hellidon Lakes Captains Drive-In Competition as he posted the best round of 35 points.

Darren Welsh won the top division with 34, Martyn Bannister and Martyn Bannister carded the same score in the second section, while Steve Trotman was the leading high-handicapper on 33.

Staverton Park

Joshua Morris came out on top in the Men’s March Medal at Staverton Park after posting the leading score of net 67. Michael Christie came closest to snatching first prize but had to settle for the runners-up spot on 68.
