Hellidon Lakes

Tony Inskip was crowned Club Champion over 36 holes at Hellidon Lakes after posting rounds of 70 and 71. Tom Laver finished two shots back in second place, with Darren Welsh in third position on 146.

Kingsthorpe

Kev Purkis lifted the Lionverge Trophy after winning the Kingsthorpe Stableford by one from Russ Beadsmore with an excellent tally of 42 points. Martin Dunn and Gareth Withrington were next on 39 apiece.

Whittlebury Park

Birdies on Whittlebury Park’s seventh, 14th and 18th holes helped Iain Lindsay secure the Dave Goodrham Trophy with a winning score of 41 points. Richard Evans was just one point behind in second place.

Farthingstone

Robert Colby, John Bridgwood, Duncan Bisatt and Alan Wilkinson were the team to beat in the Alan Wiffill Trophy as the quartet carded a winning total of 92 points at Farthingstone.

Daventry

Graham Reeves beat the course at Daventry by seven holes to win the top prize on Presidents Day. Thomas Gibbs finished six holes up to grab the runners-up spot by two from Alfred Chessum.

Staverton Park

Countback was needed in Staverton Park’s Seniors September Stableford with Lawrie Worbey gaining the verdict from Ken James on 38 points.

Collingtree

Ray Connolly combined perfectly with his daughter Edie to win the Junior Captain’s Day at Collingtree Park with a superb nine-hole score of net 25. Brothers Jody and Jensen Parfitt finished runners-up on 32.
