Priors Hall
Jim Collins won Priors Hall’s June Mid-week Medal by a couple of strokes from Matt Goode and Danny Draper after firing a net 68.
The June Stableford a few days later witnessed an excellent winning score of 41 points from Mathew Mills as the 16-handicapper grabbed the plaudits by one from Stuart Bayes.
Peterborough Milton
Graham Townsend won the Peterborough Milton Midweek Stableford by a single point from Gary Noye, Sean Johnston, Adam Barker and Conor Brennan (all 35)
Vivien Clark finished runner-up twice in the same week as she just missed out in the Martins Mixed competition and Ladies Hamer Trophy.
Overstone Park
Two strokes was the margin of victory in both Men’s June Medals at Overstone Park as Adrian White (net 67) and Phil Gardner (68) clinched the Mid-week and Weekend plaudits. Rosemary Scott won the Ladies Medal with a net 70.
Will Salmon, Josh Dowling, Adam Dunmore and Dean Gray needed countback to secure first prize in the Mark Hunt Texas Scramble after finishing tied with Leomelia Davis, Declan Mawe, Ruth Cross and Sam Fairhead on net 51.
Rushden
The first two nine-hole roll-up events of the month at Rushden were claimed by Christopher Fox and Malcolm Kendall Snr after posting 20 and 24 points respectively.
Scott Manning and Richard Butlin were the pair to beat in the Cromer Salvers as their tally of 46 points pushed them three clear of Kane Attley and David Patrick. The Davies Cups went to Claire McIlroy and Dave Stott (37) the following day.
Kettering
Margaret Preece and her partner were successful in the Ladies Ping Fourball Betterball Competition at Kettering on countback from Sarah Pattison and Vera Carter with 40 points.
