Golfers prepare for Clubhouse re-openings
Many golf clubs across the county are bracing themselves for a significant date on their 2020 calendar as Saturday, July 4th marks the first day they are allowed to re-open their clubhouses and bars following the coronavirus lockdown.
Although courses have been open for the last few weeks, golfers have been prevented from entering the clubhouse, bar areas and changing rooms, with the exception of toilets, to avoid the possibility of spreading COVID-19.
Food and beverages may not be available at every club as social distancing restrictions remain in place, but club members will be relieved to have more opportunities to meet up with friends and fellow golfers.
For more details of what is available at each course in Northamptonshire, golfers are advised to contact their local club beforehand.
