Hole-in-One Challenge

County professional Dan Ashcroft is taking on an unusual challenge on Sunday, September 1st at 2pm as he targets a hole-in-one on a par three hole in aid of charity.
The Pytchley Golf Lodge pro, who will give himself 500 attempts at an ace on the ninth hole at his home course, is looking forward to the test.
He said: “I’ve managed to get a donation of £500 but if I get a hole in one, I get £1000 to donate to our charity day charity, the haemophilia society. South Midland Plants are the sponsor.”
