LPGA Tour Q School
Meghan MacLaren’s hopes of playing on the LPGA Tour next season remain in the balance as she goes into the second half of QSchool this week needing to improve her current position at Pinehurst, North Carolina.
The Wellingborough pro started with an opening three over par 76 on Pinehurst No. 6, bagged an eagle three on the 15th hole in a 72 on day two, before posting two more scores of 72 over the next 48 hours to sit in a tie for 64th.
With the tournament switching to Pinehurst No. 9 this week, the 25-year-old will be looking to make the cut after the next two rounds by finishing in the top 80, before pushing for a Tour card in 2020 over the last couple of days.
