Midlands South Fourball Betterball

Wellingborough’s Carol Gibbs and Mary MacLaren relished the challenge of defending their Midlands South Fourball Betterball crown on their home course as they triumphed with a gross 72. Samantha Harding (Staverton) and her partner Debbie Poynton took the best net prize.
MacLaren was also successful in the recent Goodyear Challenge Cup at Nuneaton GC as the two-handicapper claimed the gross prize with a round of 77. County colleague Tracy Bishop was third.
