Cold Ashby secured third place in Group A, whilst condemning Rushden to bottom spot, with a 16-1 home victory in their last match of the season.
With just a couple of points separating the two teams after four ties, Ashby surged clear thanks to wins from Jon Pycraft and Christopher Spencer (seven holes) and Graham Hanmore and Kenny Gordon (six holes).
Cherwell Edge did just enough in all six games against Peterborough Milton as they sealed the runners-up spot behind runaway Group B leaders Collingtree Park with a 12-0 home success.
