NGL Handicap League
Cherwell Edge, Overstone Park and Delapre face a tough task qualifying for the Handicap League semi-finals after being drawn in a group with defending champions Brampton Heath and Hellidon Lakes, who triumphed in 2012, 2013 and 2016.
Delapre, in particular, will need to make a strong start in Group D as they travel to Hellidon Lakes on Thursday, April 25th, before hosting Brampton Heath seven days later.
Last year’s beaten finalists and seven-time winners Collingtree Park are at Cold Ashby for their opening Group B match, while Staverton Park face local rivals Daventry. Kingsthorpe begin their campaign in early May.
Rushden have home advantage against Farthingstone for their opening Group C match on April 25th, while Silverstone will also be looking to make the most of local knowledge when they take on Northampton.
Northants County, who have never won the Handicap League, begin their latest attempt with a trip to Northampton a week later.
Oundle could steal an early march in the bid to win Group A as they are involved in four of the first five matches in May as they host Wellingborough, travel to Priors Hall and Kettering, before taking on local rivals Peterborough Milton at home.
