NGL Hollingsworth Trophy – Group B

Callum Milne and Darren Buchan grabbed the decisive point for Priors Hall as they secured the team’s first victory of the season with a 3-2 home success against Silverstone.
After losing 5-0 at Wellingborough in their opening fixture, the Corby club started brightly as Scott Gordon and Paul Briggs won 3&1, before Paul Freeman and John Lenaghan doubled the lead with a victory by the same margin.
Silverstone, who were playing their first match of the campaign, responded by taking the next two points with holes to spare, but Milne and Buchan ended the away comeback on the closing hole.
