Northampton inflicted Kettering’s first defeat of the campaign as they romped to a 7-1 victory at Cold Ashby GC.
Gary Slinn, Scott Wood, Ben Hawkins, Gareth Parker, Sam Gilkes, Graham Turby and Andy Limbert bagged the Northampton points.
The battle between the other two unbeaten sides turned into a one-side contest the previous weekend as Collingtree stormed to their fourth successive victory by beating Wellingborough 6½-1½.
With just three of the eight ties going the distance, big wins from Neil Abery, Andrew Dennis, Glyn Hannah, Ray Connolly and Aidan Rosling proved decisive for Collingtree.
Overstone were only marginally less impressive in their clash with Kingsthorpe as James Gardner, Tony White, Jim Tricklebank, Jamie Newton and David Smith secured the last five points in a 6-2 victory.
