NGL Junior Order of Merit

Places are filling up for the latest events on the 2019 NGL Junior Order of Merit as Golf Clubs across the county get ready to hold Junior Opens over the summer period.
It all starts with the Peterborough Milton Open on Monday, July 29th, followed by the Cherwell Edge competition 24 hours later and the Overstone Park event on Friday, August 2nd.
Rushden are holding a Centenary Year Junior Open on Monday, August 5th, the Northants County Open takes place on the next Monday, Wellingborough’s event is two days later, whilst the Northampton Open is scheduled for August 19th.
Cold Ashby’s Junior Open on August 28th is the last of the qualifiers as boys and girls look to book a place in the Grand Final on September 15th at Kettering GC.
Ben Lavender, who is the current joint-leader of the Gross Boys standings, emphasised his good form by winning the Northampton Junior Championships.
Elliot Strickland took the net plaudits, Leah Ribano and Caitlin Worth were the Gross and Net Girls champions respectively, while Mackenzie Warden and Luke James also picked up first prizes.
