County Men’s Strokeplay champion Lewis White (Northampton) wasted no time in taking a step closer to an individual double in 2019 as he beat Roger Butler (Wellingborough) to reach the quarter-finals of the Matchplay Scratch KO.
James Northern (Kettering) and Corey Neville (Northants County) are also through to the last eight.
Dan Haynes (Daventry) is waiting to find out if he will face Chris Van Heerden (Whittlebury Park) or Trevor Twelftree (Collingtree) in the semi-finals of the Handicap Singles KO. The other last four tie sees Neil White (Kettering) play Andrew MacDonald (Overstone Park)
Jonathan Lancastle-Smith and Peter Walker (Overstone) have booked a semi-final meeting with Jim Campbell and Dave Draper (Kettering) in the Men’s Fourball Betterball after defeating Ian Abrahams and Jack Marr (Priors Hall) on the 21st hole.
Neil Abery and Bob Ross (Collingtree) and James Berry and Sam Overton (Daventry) have both made it through to the last four of the Men’s Foursomes.
