Northants County moved to the top of the standings as a young line-up crushed defending champions Wellingborough 7-1 at home.
Peterborough Milton climbed to third after edging a tight home contest with bottom side Overstone by a single point.
Early away points from Dean Roberts, Sam Gilkes and Graham Turby weren’t enough for Northampton at Kingsthorpe as they suffered their first defeat of the campaign going down 5-3.

Division 2
Kettering remain on course for a perfect promotion campaign after making it four wins in four outings with a 5½-2½ home success against Staverton Park.
Despite a defeat in the opening tie, Kettering seized control thanks to points from Reece Dodd, Chris Ward, Rob Stevenson and Marc Asher, before a half from Jamie Ashcroft and a win from Jordan Darnell in the last two ties wrapped up the victory.
