NPGA Winter Series

Leading county professional Ryan Evans showed his class once again on his home course as he carded the best individual total of 40 points in the NPGA Winter Series Pro-Am at Wellingborough.

Fresh from setting a new course record of 63 in the Glazerite Trophy Pro-Am earlier in the month, the European Challenge Tour pro bagged five birdies and just one bogey as he finished two ahead of Mikey Chambers.

Evans, whose season was cut short in the summer following knee surgery, says it’s great to back out on the golf course again as he battles to regain full fitness ahead of a busy 2022.
