The Shires Junior Golf Tour

Jack Meakin won the Gold Division in the third Winter Series event on The Shires Junior Golf Tour as he compiled a seven-under-par net 20 on the short course at Brampton Heath.

The Northants County member, who lives in Corby, finished two strokes ahead of club-mate Oliver Golby, with another County member Olivia Holyoak-Church in joint-third.

In the penultimate competition in the Winter Series, Oliver Chalmers, Cole Clark and Niall Goodridge led the scoring in the Silver, Bronze and Diamond categories respectively.
