The Shires Junior Golf Tour

Eva-Grace Parsons carded the best net score of 20 over the nine-hole short course at Brampton Heath GC to win the final Winter Series event on The Shires Junior Golf Tour.

The Northampton GC member beat Oliver Chalmers by one stroke in the Silver Division, with Overstone Park’s James Miller claiming third on countback with a score of 22.

Northants County’s Oliver Golby beat club-mate Jack Meakin on countback in the Gold Division with 24, while Harriet Szylwian completed a Northamptonshire cleansweep of the first prizes in the main categories by winning the Bronze on 21.

On a day when all the competitors received a prize for taking part in the Winter Series, the non-handicap section went to Niall Goodridge.

The first event of the Summer Series on The Shires Junior Golf Tour takes place on the main course at Brampton Heath GC on Sunday, March 26th. With all boys and girls welcome to play, sign up via www.theshiresgolftour.co.uk.
