Tim Stockdale Golf Foundation
Golfers of all ages from across the county, and beyond, had the pleasure of competing alongside a number of sporting celebrities in the inaugural Tim Stockdale Foundation Golf Day at Woburn.
With the champion showjumper, who lived in Northampton, passing away of cancer last November, wife Laura set up a charity in his memory to help young athletes trying to make their way in sport.
Stockdale’s sons Mark and Joe both took part alongside County Boys team golfer Elliott Strickland and Overstone Park pro Brian Mudge, while former England cricket captain Sir Alistair Cook, impressionist Rory Bremner and BBC presenter Claire Balding were amongst the celebrities involved.
