Top County golfers support The Shires Junior Golf Tour

Some of the best golfers to have represented Northamptonshire in amateur and professional golf in recent years have pledged their support to The Shires Junior Golf Tour by providing unique prizes to the successful competitors.

LPGA Tour star Charley Hull is already as an ambassador, but the Shires have now confirmed that European Challenge Tour pro Gary Boyd and former England international Callum Farr will also offer to play a round of golf with juniors this year.

With numbers piling in for the 18-hole and nine-hole categories in the opening event at Brampton Heath on Sunday, the Summer Series features tournaments across the counties of Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Bedfordshire.
