West of England Strokeplay

Charlie Salter recorded consecutive wins in big amateur tournaments as he backed up his success in the Faldo Series Grand Final Qualifier by claiming the top prize in the West of England Strokeplay Championship at Saunton GC.
The Northants County member carded four birdies in an opening round of one-over-par 72, before finding his consistency over the last two days as he dropped just three strokes in scores of 71 and 69 to finish one clear of the chasing pack.
