Golfers follow Coronavirus advice carefully

Golf clubs and golfers across the county have been keeping a close eye on the guidance issued by the government, health advisers and England Golf in recent days as the Coronavirus outbreak continues to affect the sport.
With golf being a healthy pursuit played in the open air, the authorities have stated that the risk to players, who are of good health and not classed in a vulnerable age category, is smaller than most other sports.
But, to avoid any unnecessary risk, England Golf issued a series of specific measures surrounding the need to limit social gatherings and maintain social distancing on the golf course.
This advice is changing on a regular basis, particularly after the government forced all bar and dining facilities within clubhouses to be closed in line with a national ban on bars and restaurants.
